I&#039;ve been corresponding with friends on the nature of the downfall of mainstream media,  pointing out to them that the media giants could practically own most of the content on the Internet if they had simply jumped into it soon enough.

Of course I was thinking mostly about print media, and beyond that, mostly news where the idea of &quot;authoritative sources&quot; makes sense.

I had totally failed to consider that part of the MSM aimed squarely at retards.  But somehow I think an analogous concept holds true.  Will such heavily (and obviously) overproduced &quot;reality&quot; such as displayed above be able to compete with the bored housewife stripping in front of the webcam?  That remains a mystery to me.</description>
