		<description>You can not gut a newspaper, as the last couple of owners have done, and then ask readers to pay for it. It&#039;s my hometown paper, and I barely read it. 
Forget craigslist. This could allow online news sites, which don&#039;t really have a hold on Long Island, to flourish.</description>

We&#039;ve started to experiment with such utilities at www.kayanta.com to hopefully help local news organizations deliver more value.  Unfortunately, perhaps, the train is pulling out of the station.</description>
