“retransmission fees” sounds like an excuse to raise your monthly bill for a service many people may not want, but will be forced to pay for anyway. Imagine Facebook or Twitter charging an ISP for access to it’s site, and those fees being forced upon consumers via their monthly internet bill. Of course, that’s how cable TV works right now, paying for channels I don’t want.
