Google’s Top Chef Leaves Las Vegas

preeti-mistrySorry Googlers, I have no choice but to deliver this important and sad news: The woman who runs your cafeteria will not be crowned “Top Chef.”

In retrospect, it’s not a shock that Preeti Mistry, the contractor who oversees “Charlie’s Cafe” at Google’s (GOOG) Mountain View headquarters, only lasted three episodes on Bravo’s reality show.

In the first episode of the new season, she struggled to open clams. And in last night’s iteration, she delivered a mediocre pasta salad, then got the boot.

Mistry seems to have taken the experience in stride. Her Twitter account now quotes a quasi-inspirational aphorism from Kanye West, and her post-elimination interview finds her in what seem to be pretty good spirits.
