When we talk about google, we usually thing that it's the best search engine, and there are no flaws with it. this just proves that it was overrated by a lot of people and this kinds of idealism influence others.

Is this actually a surprise?

I mean . . . while the language is ill-advised ('you're lucky you have a job at all"), and when coming from three billionaires the message sounds even uglier, they're CORRECT. Google staff who believe they're entitled to anything are just . . . deluded.

Now, get back to work!

Let the brain drain begin. I know a few smart types that just made it in and they want out. Really good talent doesn't need the economy to be good to get work. Google is a factory for wanna-be types who hang on daddy Brin and daddy Page's coat tails and want the validation of Google for the resume and ego because they couldn't stand on their own. As someone knows first hand: Google is like working in an ant colony. A huge amount of work gets done, especially when considering the size of the anthill and the single ant. And in record time. But any ant, or even thousands of ants, can be washed away and everything continues nominally. The employees are simply drones on the Borg ship, coated in the veneer of google's hippy-friendly BS marketing. While this same company basically actively participates in capture and imprisonment of dissidents by despotic governments citing local compliance. Farce. Microsoft with softer, friendlier marketing.
