Adobe has betrayed their dedicated user base of creatives by not supporting open standards and building increasingly more complex tools that are not well integrated into the open web.

The success of  wordpress (that this site is running on) show what kind of tools Adobe should be building!  Air is a rich environment abstracted environment that runs poorly and is opaque on the web.

Why not build it on Ajax, HTML5, php, etc? Because AIR is about Adobe trying to control the platform not making a great user experience or design platform.
